Per Spectrem's Perspective Participant Attitudes about Advice and Education, the mode of delivery that was most often cited by participants (58%) that helped them make a decision about the management of their retirement account was a plan website that allowed the user to read or download materials.
Dissemination of hard copy materials was a close second at 56%. At the low end of the spectrum, only 18% prefer materials delivered via an interactive module, outside the plan website.
